AKE: the shared platform
Agentic Knowledge Engine is the group’s core platform for knowledge processing, AI agents and workflow applications. Its development direction connects reusable technology with domain-specific expertise. AwePlus is the client implementation brand; specialist businesses inform the platform through real problems and evaluation.
MTRI: a group-level research remit
MTRI works with Magellan Global on AKE and applied AI research. Its remit spans the five business areas, with scientists, engineers and product specialists contributing to methods, technical review and knowledge exchange. It is not confined to the commercial priorities of AwePlus.
Research priorities
The agenda includes knowledge provenance, reliable agent workflows, human oversight, domain-specific evaluation and the transfer of learning into work. Financial research explores analytical methods and risk, while talent and education applications raise questions of evidence, context and fair interpretation.
Evaluate before extending
A promising demonstration is a starting point. A proposed application needs a task definition, an evaluation set, measurable failure modes and an accountable human owner. Operational use also requires appropriate access controls, data rights and an agreed support model.
Collaborate around a defined question
We welcome discussions with researchers and enterprises about a specific question, dataset or applied challenge. Scope, information rights, publication arrangements and commercial interests should be explicit from the beginning. Public research outputs will be attributed to their actual authors and publication venues.
