Three things, each depending on the other two

Magellan Global is asked with increasing frequency what kind of company it is. It runs GSRP and YSRP, which look like education programmes; yet it describes its core as accumulating AI technology and knowledge and driving the AI transformation of professional services. The answer is that it does three things, and none of them works without the other two.

  • Practice. Professional services delivered on an AI platform: Legal, contracts and intellectual property (LegalMatrix); continuous company and equity compliance (GoGoTrust); global mobility compliance (WG Global); company due diligence and reputation (OpenDossier, Impactio); enterprise AI transformation and forward-deployed engineering (AwePlus).
  • Research and platform. Institutional expertise turned into updatable AI infrastructure: MTRI is the group’s research institute. AKE, the Agentic Knowledge Engine, turns an institution’s expertise into supervised, continuously updated AI workflows and is the engine shared by every practice brand.
  • People. Developing the people who will lead the work: GSRP develops the successors and key people that enterprises and families nominate; YSRP takes students aged 12 to 17 from a question of their own to a chip of their own; AJPE supports families’ education planning; magellon connects top talent with the companies that need them.

Why it looks like an education company

Because the group believes that as AI makes capability cheap, what becomes scarce is knowledge, judgement and opportunity. Those are the three resources studied by its Mobility Capital framework: how real experience across borders and disciplines builds knowledge, forms judgement, opens opportunity, and turns AI capability into enterprise value. So the group develops people itself, and does it through real work, AI projects, mentors and international experience rather than classrooms. The aim of each programme is the same: people who can define problems, create technology and lead others.

Why it is not an education company

The closest analogy is a teaching hospital. It treats patients, conducts research and trains the next generation of doctors, and nobody calls it a school. Magellan Global works the same way: the practice brands are the hospital, MTRI and AKE are the research, and GSRP and YSRP are the training. Revenue comes mainly from professional services and the platform. The programmes are products sold to enterprises and families, and they are also the group’s own talent supply: GSRP graduates join the group’s talent network and its client enterprises, and YSRP participants can go on to GSRP years later.

Talent and technology are one investment

This is what separates the group from an education company and from a software company alike. A software company sells tools; an education company sells courses. Magellan Global turns professional expertise into scalable digital infrastructure and, at the same time, develops the people who will lead that work, because without them the infrastructure is just another piece of software. AKE needs people who understand both the business and the AI to supervise and update it; GSRP and YSRP develop exactly those people. MTRI studies both ends: how AI changes professional work, and how people build the ability to frame problems by working with AI.

Magellan Global is an AI-native professional services group: it transforms knowledge-intensive professional work on its own AI platform, and develops the people who will lead that work.
