Start with a decision, not a tool

Choose a process where better information or a clearer hand-off could make a difference. Record the current outcome: time spent, rework, missed exceptions or inconsistency. A baseline helps the team decide whether the proposed improvement is worth adopting.

Develop the person who can own the change

An internal owner needs enough technical understanding to ask questions and enough business context to judge the answers. Product and project skills connect these perspectives: defining requirements, prioritising work and checking acceptance criteria.

Treat implementation as a discipline

A prototype needs evaluation, integration, permissions and operational support before it becomes a dependable workflow. AwePlus is the group’s implementation brand. GSRP addresses the development of nominated people who can participate meaningfully in this work.

Measure capability as well as output

Review what the participant can now explain, decide and deliver. Review the workflow separately: are people using it, can exceptions be handled and is responsibility clear? This two-part view makes learning and enterprise value visible.
