Terms and Conditions of Service
Your obligations when taking a Magellan Global service

It is your responsibility, for services beginning at airports, stations or ports, to ensure that you locate and wait for your Driver or Representative at the meeting point in the arrival area and/or use any specified airside exit into the landside arrival area.

It is your responsibility, should you not be able to locate your Driver or Representative at the start of a service, to call the relevant telephone number as shown on your confirmation email or SMS before making alternative arrangements. You acknowledge that failure to do so will be treated as a “no show” and no refund will be made. It is your responsibility to advise Magellan Global or the Driver of any circumstance that will alter the Booked meeting time and meeting place.

For example:
- If baggage, immigration or customs delays will cause the time taken for you to exit the airside areas and enter the landside arrivals area to exceed the permitted grace period
- If you will be late for a street pick up beyond the permitted 10 minutes grace period
- If a flight is retimed or cancelled before its departure
- If a progressive or rolling delay to departure occurs before boarding
- If your flight is changed to a different flight number and/or a new carrier

It is your responsibility, for services beginning from accommodation, hotels, offices or public places to ensure that you are waiting at the appointed meeting point at or before the confirmed pick up time.

It is your responsibility, for services where you have luggage with you to ensure that you inform our staff so that a large enough vehicle is booked to accommodate all luggage. If you bring extra luggage that cannot fit in the vehicle, you will need to cover any additional costs incurred in transferring your luggage.

It is your responsibility to choose and book a start time that allows sufficient time for the journey to take place or the formalities to be completed in good time.

It is your responsibility to declare in advance any Dangerous Goods that will be carried, and you (i) acknowledges that Magellan Global and its Service Provider is under no obligation to provide Services to a Customer in possession of such Dangerous Goods, and you (ii) agree to indemnify Magellan Global and Service Provider against and hold Magellan Global and Service Provider harmless from any penalty, loss, damage, claim, cost or expense which Magellan Global or Service Provider may incur directly or indirectly as a result of any breech of this requirement

It is your responsibility, if travelling with babies and infants, to ensure that you bring with you, as well as fit, the correct child/infant seat for use in your booked vehicle. Failure to do this could result in your service not taking place with no refund possible.

Cancellations and No Shows
All rates are inclusive of foreign taxes and administration costs.

Rates are subject to surcharges for national holidays & premium times - applicable to some airports only VIP meets allow for 2 hours, after first 2 hours of service, additional per hour fee will be charged Any cancellation within 24hrs in the will result in FULL charge.

There is an additional €55.00 for same day bookings

No show will be charged at the full rate
A no show fee equal to the hourly minimum or base transfer, as applicable, for the confirmed vehicle plus airport fee, fuel surcharge, tolls, and parking, if applicable, will apply should the passenger fail to cancel or meet the chauffeur at the designated pick up location for all reservations.
To avoid either a late cancellation or no show fee, the reservation(s) must be cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy noted in the email confirmation. You may either call +44 1752 600 900 or cancel the reservation at bookings@magellanglobal.com.
If you experience difficulty locating your chauffeur, please call the Service Provider telephone number listed in the email confirmation. If you cannot locate your chauffeur and you seek an alternative method of transport without first contacting Magellan Global to try and resolve the situation, you will be charged the tariff rate based on the service booked.

Wait Time - Airport Transfer
Wait time is not charged for commercial flights unless customers choose to deviate from proceeding to the stated customer/chauffeur meeting location. In such instances, wait time beyond twenty (20) minutes will incur the transfer base charge plus the hourly charge quoted.

Wait Time - Point-to-Point Transfer
Customers are permitted twenty (20) minutes of wait time after the scheduled pickup time. Wait time beyond the twenty (20) minutes will incur the transfer base charge plus the hourly charge quoted.

Extra Stops
Customers are allowed to make one stop which does not exceed fifteen (15) minutes during a transfer. If the stop exceeds fifteen (15) minutes, the customer will be charged the transfer base rate plus the hourly charge quoted for the time that the chauffeur waits. If there is more than one stop, or if the one stop lasts more than forty-five (45) minutes, then the trip will convert to an hourly charge.

Rate Estimate
Rates quoted prior to service are only an initial estimate of the cost of services reserved. Wait time and/or additional services may change the final price.

Exchange Rate
Any quoted rate is based on the exchange rate in effect at the time of booking. The final bill will be calculated using the exchange rate in effect at the time of billing.

Child Safety Seats For safety reasons of providing age and weight appropriate equipment, Magellan Global does not provide child safety or booster seats. However, customers may provide and install their own child safety or booster seats.

Lost or Misplaced Items
Magellan Global assume no liability for any lost or misplaced personal property or any other items.

Airport Transfer
The charge for a transfer to or from a commercial airport or FBO location to a predefined location.

Hourly Charge
The charge for "As-Directed" service when there is an itinerary involved or the chauffeur takes instructions from the customer; typically involves multiple stops.

Point-to-Point Transfer
The charge for predefined transfer from the most frequently traveled routes in a given market, separate and aside from airport transfers, as defined above.

Product & Service modifications

Magellan Global will engage sub-contractors, referred to herein as Service Providers, to perform all or any part or parts of the Service

Occasionally Service Providers may substitute the indicated vehicle type, model or brand, but in such a case one will be provided of similar or better quality and you will be informed.

The Service will normally begin on meeting you at the pick-up location.
The Service will normally end when our Service Provider drops you off or leaves you.
Notwithstanding this, for some non-fixed price ride services in certain countries the Service will begin and end when the vehicle used leaves and returns to its operating base.
Magellan Global and its Service Providers will endeavor to ensure Delivery at any time specified by you, but the exact time of Delivery cannot be guaranteed and shall not be of the essence.

Pricing & Inclusions/Exclusions
Prices are based on the local currency tariff at the time of quoting, and are converted into the displayed currency at the prevailing foreign-exchange rate as determined by Magellan Global.
Price quotations and price tables may change without notice until a booking is confirmed. If an material amendment is accepted to a booked Service the amended price will use the exchange rates and tariffs subsisting at the time of change and additional charges may be payable.

The base price quoted at the time of booking will include all knowable charges for the Service that has been booked. If you direct the driver, the representative or Magellan Global to change the booked Service, or if you are delayed then additional charges may apply, including "out of hours" surcharges if the Service takes place outside the Service Provider’s normal hours as a result of the change or delay.

Prices include security, port charges, parking fees, customs, immigration, agricultural, passenger-facility charges or international transportation tax.

Prices do not include discretionary tips/gratuities to representatives’ drivers or local guides; or passport and visa fees; or baggage and personal insurance.

Payment Terms
For Clients without a Magellan Global account, payment is due in full when booking. Please note that credit cards will not be charged until the end of the journey.

For Clients who have an account with Magellan Global, all invoices are due within 72 hours of receipt by Client. All invoices will be submitted to the client immediately upon completion of the job. Any delay in payment will result in a hold on the account until the account is paid in full.

Magellan Global reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at the base rate of interest plus 7% for every thirty days payment is delayed. Magellan Global accept most credit cards as a means of payment but a surcharge of 3% will be levied to cover the cost of credit card processing.

Applicable Conditions
These terms and conditions are governed by and are subject to the laws of England and Wales and Magellan Global and the Customer submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
All bookings made shall be deemed to be a confirmation by the Customer to acceptance of these terms and conditional and shall supersede any other terms and conditions from the Customer. Any amendments to these terms and conditions must be agreed in writing by both parties.
