Magellan Global has today launched a new "Golf and Taxi" service with their partners KLM and Air France.
The service, exclusive to the airline's "FlyingBlue" membership programs, enables golfers to book a taxi from their destination airport to their hotel or golf course, with the added benefit that their golf equipment travels free.
A spokesman for Magellan Global said "Maegellan Global has been working with major airlines to launch premium quality services accross the globe since 2009, this is an important step for us and opens our high quality services up to FlyingBlue members."
Magellan Global adds one of the world's largest hotel data bases
As part of an ongoing drive to enhance the information available to assist clients Magellan Global has added one of the World's largest hotel databases to their system. Boasting in excess of 125,000 hotels worldwide this new addition builds on the 9,000,000 places database added earlier this year.
Magellan Global has stated that the aim is to give clients the ability to not only book their transport anywhere in the world, but to allow the passenger to see what hotels, attractions, points of interest and many other useful items will be at their destination.
New on-line passenger feedback launches
Magellan Global have today launched a major enhancement to their online booking tool enabling passengers to leave feedback for any journeys that they have taken.
Operations director Oscar Huls said "the new functionality is seen by us as another way that we can interact with our customers to ensure that we are delivering the best posible service to our clients.
By engaging with our customers in as many ways as posible we can gather the maximum benefit from their feedback"
Advanced Passenger Profiling launches
Registered users of the Magellan Global service can now add their details to the new "APPS" advanced passenger profiling service.
Once you have filled in your details you can use APPS to automatically let us know things like your favourite driver (or which driver you don't like!), which languages you can speak and you can even tell us how long before your flight you want to be at the airport. We believe that by using APPS you can tailor your journey to be exactly how you want it to be.
